Leafy Birthday Card

Well look at me - two posts in three days!

I have a very quick post today with a card I made for my boyfriend's father. Isn't it pretty? He absolutely loved it! Now I'm sure I CASED it from someone but that was over a month ago so I have no idea who it was! I will post an update if I remember who.

Recipe:
Ink: Soft Suede
Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Gumball Green, Composition Specialty paper
Other: Bronze button (just retired) and some bakers twine & lots of different embossing folders that I will list later

Thanks for stopping by!

Giraffe Card!

This is a super quick post today. My friend at work asked me to make her a giraffe card for her daughter's birthday. Her daughter LOVES giraffes so this is what I came up with. Isn't he cute? I am pretty proud of myself because I don't do punch art pretty much at all! I cased it from Sandie Conner's blog. I'll list the supplies and link to her blog when I get a chance.

Oh yes, shhh don't tell..... He hasn't noticed yet but he's missing his tail. =)

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Birthday card for a 4 year old

This is going to be quick one. My friend at work asked me for a birthday card for a 4 year old girl that she needed today and this is what I came up with. It was after all a last minute request but I did get to make it and finish it in 15 minutes with what I had on hand in the office. Thank goodness for SU's starter set of inks (the tiny little set of ink cubes) and my one stamp set there. I did regret not having any glitter though. What little girl would not have loved some glitter!
