Two Posts in Two Days! Thank You Card Set
Well look at me - two posts in two days! This post is quite heavy with pictures but I wanted to show you what you could do with just two stamps (a flourish and a sentiment) and a butterfly punch. I made this set of cards in under 30 minutes! It was so simple with SU's note cards. It's a time saver to stamp the flourish then without re-inking, stamp the envelope at the same time. Very simple and it can be done with any flourish and a sentiment! This also looks very nice with Everything Eleanor flourish by itself.

Inks: 2012 In-colors
Stamps: Retired Best Friends Forever and a sentiment
Other: Butterfly Punch and Rhinestones

Seize the Birthday #14!
*Update 4/22/13: I was able to retake the photos and they came out much better!
It's been a very long time since I've posted but when I saw the Seize the Birthday #14 sketch, I just had to give it a try! I loved the part that looks like pleating so that's what I decided to do with my new dsp from SU. I dyed the flowers to match by using the ink from the ink pad and then spritzing them with water. I think it gives the card a little needed pop of color. I hope you like it!
I do have happy news that I finally found a lighting tent that I think will work for me and now just have to decide on the size!
All products are SU!
Stamps: Beautiful Birthday
Paper: Primrose Petals, Very Vanilla cs, Print Poetry dsp, Paper Doilies
Accessories: 5/8" Flower Trim, Rhinestones & Summer Starfruit satin ribbon

Oh, Whale Valentines
These are the little tags I made for my grandson's teachers and put them on Rice Krispie treats. I have no idea why I needed to make 25 of them but I was happy to oblige. They were so easy. I just used a few glue dots to hold them onto the package and tied them at the top with Island Indigo bakers' twine. I love the color and hope it's still current. The teachers all loved them!Saturday, February 2, 2013
Cased Patterned Occasions Birthday Card
My friend always gets her cards from me and this time needed some birthday ones. A week earlier, she wiped out my birthday card stash so I looked for something quick and easy but for guys. I found the one Mary Fish did Here that I thought was super cute! I didn't have everything Mary used so I got out my retired stash. See, cute huh? I love it and so did my friend.
Picture's a little blurry since I had to use my iPad to take it.

I needed two super quick birthday cards for my two friends who celebrated their birthdays recently. Of course I had to make a slightly funny card for them. Does this show my age??... growing up I remember my dad always quoted Jack Benny every year and told us that he is 29 again! =)
My apoligies for the blurry pictures but I always forget to take pictures and this was better than nothing!

Giraffe Card!
This is a super quick post today. My friend at work asked me to make her a giraffe card for her daughter's birthday. Her daughter LOVES giraffes so this is what I came up with. Isn't he cute? I am pretty proud of myself because I don't do punch art pretty much at all! I cased it from Sandie Conner's blog. I'll list the supplies and link to her blog when I get a chance.
Oh yes, shhh don't tell..... He hasn't noticed yet but he's missing his tail. =)
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Little Christmas Pouch
Hello there! I saw this super duper cute pouch on Heather Summer's blog and decided to try to make one. It came out so darned cute! A real head turner, looks much better in person. I love Real Red and Soft Suede together and it works here! I'm thinking that you could easily tuck a gift card in there as well. Imagine it as a gift for teachers! I think I will make a few hundred of these!

Cupcake Notes!
My friend and I were laughing at our version of note cards which are actually post-it notes. I saw this really cute idea by Becky Roberts here so decided to case it. These worked up really fast. The cupcake is from Carry On and the sentiment is from a retired set. I kept that set just for the sentiment that says "if you are what you eat, eat something cute". Thought it was cute.

I Dig You Thank You Cards
My grandson recently celebrated his 4th birthday and my daughter asked for some thank you cards to the people who sent gifts. She asked for truck cards since he loves trucks. Of course being that she's my daughter she needs them "now" Lol. I whipped these up in about two hours. I was happy to use up some dsp. I was going to paper piece some Old Olive cs onto the back section of the truck but it was late. So I stepped back, looked at them and said "done"! I think they turned pretty cute....
Recipe:
Stamps: I Dig You
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red and assorted retired dsp
Inks: Basic Gray, More Mustard and Chocolate Chip

Sending Some Snowbuddy Love
Hello there!
It was super hot in the past few weeks so I made this little card for my grandson to send his "uncle" that he loves so much. I purposely did not color it so he could color it himself. The feet are cut off a little bit but I was in a rush stamping during lunch but I don't think it's a big deal being that it's coming from a 3 year old ;-) On the inside my daughter wrote "I hope this card helps you stay cool". Cute huh?

Scentsational Season
Isn't this set super cute? I love it! I went simple with these and just let the cute images and dsp shine. I have to figure out blogger cropping which used to work but now doesn't, well for me anyway! I love the new stamp pad for the gingerbread man image, see how nice it is compared to the splotchiness of the hot chocolate mug. I should get them all over time.
Recipe:
Stamps: Scentsational Season, Sentiments from Teeny Tiny Wishes, Petite Pairs and Sweet Essentials.
Inks: Soft Suede (love the new ink pad!), Cherry Cobbler and Bashful Blue
Papers: Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Be of Good Cheer dsp

Thank You Notes
This is going to be a super quick post. My eldest daughter asked for some little thank you notes for her birthday party and this is what I came up with. They are very simple 3 x 3" notes stamped onto Whisper White. Colors are Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo. After I took the pictures I added a little rhinestone to one of the hearts on each card. That finished it off!
Update: Recipe: PTI Heart-2-Heart, Stampin UP Whisper White cs, Dots from Deanna at Kloset Kreations. I love them because they are half the height of SU dimensionals and sometimes that's what you need.
Thanks for stoping by!
